07 Search, answer & generative visibility
SEO, AEO & GEO
Findable in search engines, answer engines and AI assistants.
What this service covers
Technical fixes, structured data and content built to be cited, covering classic search alongside the answer and generative surfaces people increasingly ask first.
The three overlap but are not the same job. Search rewards pages that deserve to rank; answer engines reward content structured so a specific question can be lifted out of it; generative assistants reward being described consistently enough across the web that a model can describe you correctly too.
So the work runs on three fronts: make the site technically legible, make the content genuinely worth quoting, and make the facts about your business consistent everywhere they appear.

A look at the work
A few builds where this ran as the leading discipline.
Six stages, every engagement
The same delivery sequence runs across all ten services — only what happens inside each stage changes.
-
Discover
A crawl of what you have, the questions you should own, and how you currently appear when an assistant is asked about you.
-
Define
Priorities split three ways: technical fixes, content gaps, and the entity work that helps machines describe you correctly.
-
Design
Page templates and content briefs written to be quoted, not only to rank.
-
Build
Fixes shipped, structured data added, content published against the briefs rather than filed for later.
-
Launch
Indexing checked, structured data validated, and a baseline recorded so later movement is readable.
-
Scale
Regular reads across search and answer surfaces decide what gets written, rebuilt or retired next.
Questions we get asked
What are AEO and GEO, and how do they differ from SEO?
SEO aims at ranking a page in a results list. AEO — answer engine optimisation — aims at being the source an engine lifts a direct answer from, which rewards clear, well-structured, genuinely factual content. GEO — generative engine optimisation — is about how AI assistants describe your business, which depends more on consistent, corroborated information across the web than on any single page.
How do you know how we appear in AI answers today?
We ask, and we write down what comes back. The audit puts the questions your buyers would actually type to the main assistants and answer surfaces, records the response, and notes which sources were cited. That gives a starting picture: where you are named, where a competitor is named instead, and where the description of you is simply out of date. The readings are then repeated on a set rhythm, so a change in how you are described is something we notice rather than something a customer tells you.
How do you decide what to fix and what to write first?
Three inputs, in that order. A crawl and index review shows what is technically blocking pages that already deserve to rank, including anything slow enough to get in the way. Search demand and intent research shows which questions are worth a page at all. A gap analysis against the businesses you compete with shows which of those questions nobody has answered well yet. The output is one ordered list, split into technical fixes, content to write, and the entity work that keeps your facts consistent. We start at the top of it rather than doing a little of everything.
How long before we see anything?
It compounds rather than switches on. Technical corrections tend to register soonest because they change how your site is crawled and understood; content authority and the way assistants describe you move more slowly, because they depend on repetition and corroboration. We set a baseline at launch so the movement is at least readable.
Do you guarantee first-page rankings?
No. No one controls a search engine, and anybody promising a position is either buying ads or guessing. What we commit to is the work that reliably matters — a technically sound site, content worth citing, and consistent facts about your business — plus honest reporting on where it has and has not moved.
Do you write the content, or do we?
Either works. A brief from us names the question the page has to answer, the heading structure, the entities and internal links to include, and the schema type the page should carry, which is usually enough for someone in-house to write and publish without a second round of interpretation. Or our content team writes it and publishes it. Briefs are often the better value where you have real subject expertise in-house, and we would rather have your expert quoted than paraphrased.
What will we actually see in reporting?
Positions for the queries that matter to the business, the Search Console picture of what people searched before they arrived, whether your structured data is still valid, and how often you are named in AI answers for your core questions. Each report ends with what we intend to do next and what we need from you. A report that ends without a decision is decoration. Where something has moved backwards, that is in there too, with a reason if we have one.
Can you do this without access to our site?
Partly, and less well. Off-site work — profiles, listings, consistency of your business information — can run independently. The technical layer and structured data need access to the site or its developers; without that we can tell you what is wrong but not fix it. Search Console verification and access to the page templates are the two things worth arranging early: the first is how we see the way you are crawled, the second is where structured data and heading structure actually live.
Does this cover local search?
Yes. Local SEO covers business profiles, location pages and the consistency of your details wherever they are listed, which matters in both of the markets we work in day to day — India and the UAE — and is often the fastest visible win for a business with a physical presence.
